Whats the deal with everyone trying to hack everything. The Palm Pre is already having attempts of people trying to hack them.

its always going to happen and if Palm want to start selling the Pre as a serious business device its security will need to be tested and proven.

saying that just type "upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart" into the universal search and then hit the Developer Mode icon and u can begin the process to get root access to the device. more info here.

Ya exactly my point. The device sounds great and everything but with everything with the economy going downhill people aren't going to want to spend money on unsecure software.

It seems like no matter what you do, someone is going to try to ruin it for you. I can't stand that. I'd be afraid to invent something new; someone else would probably try to hack into it.
